With its deep progressive trance ethic and lack of obvious lead element, you’re unlikely to achieve instant connect with ‘Don’t Hold On’. On a big system, though, its underlying ferocity comes forth. Booming drums, supported by a near surplus of cavernous, sub-synth-driven minor melodies, sequences and parts see it work the floor hard. Ultimately, this one just needs a bit of time to cook.
