Akira Kayosa is an International Trance DJ and producer hailing from the heart of the Midlands, England, UK. Having first cut his teeth in the music industry regularly playing at such institutions as Majefa, Gatecrasher, Passion, Luminosity and Digital Society, Akira Kayosa is a regular on the European and International Trance circuit.

Cementing himself as one of the UK’s most revered Trance exports, Akira Kayosa has achieved a great deal of success in his music career both in and out of the studio. In 2006 he remixed Ferry Corsten’s seminal classic System F ‘Out of The Blue’, receiving international acclaim and providing the stepping stone that brought him to the international stage. Akira’s production catalogue has seen releases on the likes of Armada, Subculture, Future Sound of Egypt, Black Hole, Flashover to new a few. His own record label with long time partner Hugh Tolland ‘Titan Audio’ was one of 2014’s breakthrough labels seeing regular outings in DJ Mag & Mixmag respectively along with industry wide support from their peers.

Akira has become recognized for his unique extended set concept at Manchester’s Majefa brand, having built a close affinity with the Majefa faithful he successfully performed for 6 hours on numerous occasions. A feat not many performers within the industry can lay claim to being able to pull off in the UK.

Currently residing in the United States, Akira Kayosa has a Minnesota based studio where he is working on a debut album with Hugh Tolland, expected release will be the autumn of 2021.
